The seeds of Omkara Retreats were planted when Liz was trying to find a wellness retreat for herself & couldn’t believe how little choice was available online and through travel agents. She had a very specific list of priorities – vegetarian food, optional styles of yoga, a nurturing environment and holistic therapies – and after much searching and not finding enough choice, Liz decided to create her own company with those same priorities at the heart of the new business.
12 months on, Omkara Retreats acts as a one-stop shop for anyone searching for a yoga or wellness holiday tailored to suit there needs. All yoga styles and dietary requirements are catered for across the different programs on offer, along with an extensive list of holistic therapies, including detoxification, weight loss, addiction treatment, consultations by health experts and many other traditional and contemporary forms of healing and rejuvenation.
